This word can't even fully describe Leni Robredo's latest publicity stunt.

After keeping a strange and deathly silence in the midst of the #lenileaks controversy [Collective: A Sudden Conspicuous Silence], the beleaguered Vice-President at long last opens her mouth in front of television cameras - not to talk about the leaked emails but to express her disappointment over Malacañang's retraction of an earlier invite to a reception dinner for diplomats.

In her own words:

“Ang sa akin naman ayaw ko na kasing palakihin. Para sa akin, hindi naman big deal kung iimbitahan ako o hindi. Nakakawalang gana na lang doon iyong manner kung paano ginagawa ang mga bagay (I do not want to make a big deal of it. For me, it is not a big deal if they will invite me or not. It was just that their manner was disheartening) [PDI]."

I can't believe what I just heard. I mean, is this woman for real? Where does she get the nerve to issue such a bold statement? After getting caught red-handed conspiring against the President this woman still has the temerity to expect an invitation from Malacañang?

Unfuckingbelievable.

Instead of permanently shutting her stupid trap, this woman keeps saying things that make more and more people truly despise her. I mean, honestly, would you let a snake into your own house? Would you let a lying, scheming, two-faced bitch into your own bed?

Apparently, Leni Robredo's impropriety and complete lack of shame has reached an unprecedented level. Is she trying to elicit sympathy from the public for the kind of treatment she's been getting from Malacañang? Or is she too stupid to realize that even commenting on the issue will only expose her to even bigger resentment?

Clearly she doesn't seem to learn from her past mistakes. She made a similar statement last week when she criticized the government's relief efforts in the aftermath of Typhoon Niña for being too slow. This, despite the fact that she wasn't even there when the typhoon ravaged her hometown to begin with.

Not to mention the fact that when President Duterte invited her to be part of his Cabinet, Leni repaid that gesture of goodwill with nothing but treachery and deceit.

People have different ways of dealing with crisis. In the case of Leni Robredo, her recent misfortunes have certainly not taught her discretion and finesse but instead gave her the uncanny ability of growing an exceptionally thick epidermis. A potent mutant power she now shares with Leila De Lima [Collective: Goodbye De Lima].

Undoubtedly, if she got caught doing what she did in places like North Korea or Iraq during Saddam's time she would be instantly hanged or put to the firing squad for her betrayal. But this is not one of those places. And Rodrigo Duterte is not that type of leader, despite being portrayed by the media as such.

The most this "abominable" President can do to reward her of her treason is to retract a dinner invitation.
