Damn these cops who continue to engage in illicit activities now that Duterte is President.

Digong has always had a strong disdain for rogue cops, constantly reminding the entire force that he is behind them, so long as they do not fuck with him. Yet it seems some of them are still at it, in effect sabotaging whatever gains the government has so far accomplished in cleaning up society's dregs.

First we had the so-called ninja cops, who put lethal poison back onto the streets they swore to serve and protect. Now we have this Tokhang for Ransom modus, an updated and rebranded version of 'hulidap' in which unsuspecting citizens, foreigners even more so, are targeted for extortion by these wolves in uniform. These fuckers are extremely creative, never running out of ingenious schemes to exploit the system.

We think it's about time the President puts the fear of God into these incorrigibly persistent bastards.

Words can do nothing to impel these lowlifes to suddenly feel any remorse for their misdeeds. Neither will any public clamor for moral sense or appeal to conscience amount to any good. Any course of action we take that involves words or pleading is doomed to be futile - much like democracy, which has proven over time to be more of an exercise in futility rather than a viable model for statehood.

If we were living in ancient times, we'd say we take more extreme and drastic measures like round them up and feed them to the lions or take them to the public square and administer lapidation, better known as death by stoning. Truly, this might seem more effective, however savagely brutal and devoid of elementary norms of decency.

At the end of the day the only language these wretches will truly understand is that which is not verbally transmitted.
