A Good Man

I didn't track the time he spent with us but President Duterte must have set aside at least four hours of his time hearing our views, explaining the rationale behind decisions he has made over issues affecting our country, sharing events from childhood to where he is now and how he lives his life today.

The president is a good man. He has the interest of our country and the welfare of our people at heart. It may sound like a tag line but this man's presidency is our chance to recover from a damaged culture. He can inspire and lead us to greatness.

For the sake of our country, this president offers more than just hope. It is an opportunity we should not squander.
