People found this to be a witty reparté from the retired singer Jim Paredes. Even my friend and erstwhile DLSU instructor/professor Lem Cacho thought so.

In this comparison, Gaviria had a full term to eliminate Escobar. Duterte (thus far) only had seven months. The arrest and incarceration of Escobar were all done according to Escobar's terms.

Save for the killing of Pablo, that feat in jailing Escobar was a joke. True. His mobility or movement was restricted but that was about it. He had his rivals killed while he was living it large inside the so-called Colombia's prison, with strippers, hookers and narcotics.
