Vox Populi Vox Dei

With a clear electoral margin, Duterte has assumed the role of the highest officer of the land. He has none of the largesse nor the savoir faire which naturally accompany the people who populate the seats of power in the country. His political power comes from the people, and their confidence and hope in him. His mandate rose from a shorn 16 million votes to a resounding and resolute 91% of the Philippine population. Vox Populi.

They have money and corrupt clergy on their side. Both are agents of an ancient enemy, older than the man who now sits in Malacañang. They hiss their gospel of greed and lust from pulpit to periodical in the vain hope of stealing back the power and control which they have lost. They are few but they have the means drown out the voice their conscience under the din and clamor of worldly wiles.

Ours is a clarion call for change. And under this banner, we, the 91%, walk together, walk with him. We are the voice of the people, the voice of change. Vox Dei.
