EDSA is not Yellow

Edsa is not yellow -- it is red, white, and blue, and all the colors of the victory and the history of a whole nation.

Edsa is not one political party, it is not a political party, it is the victory of millions of people, not only those who were there, but those who wished they were there, who would have been there had circumstances not prevented them.

Also Edsa is not just Feb. 25, 1986, that was just one day in the struggle that started at least a decade before and it is only one day in our struggle that continues to this day, that must continue far into our future.

It is about freedom and the power of coming together, joining hands, kapit bisig to get us in the country of our most fervent dreams.

Edsa belongs to no one, but to everyone, even those born way after 1986, which is why we must constantly remind them of what Edsa truly means and what it should mean today.
