Remember PAMANA, the courageous Philippine Eagle who aptly represents our pride and might as a nation?
The same endangered specie who was nurtured in captivity after a series of life threatening injuries from being hunted?
The brave and mighty one who persevered thru adversity and despite the constraints on his liberty?
Who, on the occasion of our country's Independence Day, was released from captivity after his full recovery, providing yet another symbol of hope and freedom?
But who later was treacherously shot dead simply because there exists amongst us greedy and diabolical people who are slaves to wealth and power?
Now, replace PAMANA with EDSA.
