Leila de Lima's is a cautionary tale, a stellar example that no matter how high and mighty one is, if one has no qualms stepping on other people's toes with their hoofed feet simply to get ahead, all for the sake of money, power, and ambition, it'll only be a matter of time before karma comes to collect. And when it does, it'll be with interest.
For everyone out there who has been unjustly wronged, persecuted, vilified, demonized by scheming and ambitious people on their way to the top, whether political or personal, this is for you. This is a win for us. Let us share in the victory and bask in the glory of this awesome blessing from the Universe as it enforces karmic retribution in its most pure and supreme form.
Let this inspire all of us to just trust in fate to return the favor to all those who've wronged us, those we've never given a reason to, because this is proof that what goes around indeed comes around, or as my friend Francis Niu once upon a time mistakenly (yet somehow wisely) put: "Ang yabang-yabang niya, kala niya kung sino siya; ayan tuloy, lumagapak siya, kasi diba, friend, 'What goes around, must come down!'"
