On EDSA

I believe, for better or for worse, that EDSA must be remembered for its lessons.

That people may be used to advance the political agenda of a few.

That democracy may either improve or worsen our situation.

That it is not perfect. It has its flaws, and what better era to find the flaws of democracy than the past three decades.

For if we want a better future, we can examine these flaws and formulate our forward steps based on these experiences.

Let us not forget the past, but let us also not dwell upon it.

Time always moves forward so should we.

What good is the past if not for the lessons it provides?
