We Must Not Fail

We live in exciting times. The ordinary and everyday Filipinos are one with its government. Every success, every failure, every process is ours. We are no longer ruled and held captive by the oligarchy and an elite few. Finally, we can say we are part of a democracy.

Duterte has brought democracy back to our hands. Never has there been a time when the threat to a president sends spine tingling chills throughout an entire nation. Never has there been a moment in our past when each day each and every Filipino takes up the burden of defending a man they see as themselves. His pain is our pain because he is every Filipino. He is not some graven image, stately, cold and detached from the common tao. He is your best friend, your uncle, your brother, your neighbor or your mentor. He is sharp and biting but warm and nurturing. He is patient and steadfast through all our doubts.

He is the new Malacañang. He has opened the doors of a palace that has shut itself from the people for so long.

He places our needs before his because he knows he is just one man and we are many. And if he stops, we will all fail. Even when we keep asking for more he does not hold back. He will give until he expires.

Today, we can help. We have a chance to prove ourselves to our nation and to the rest of the world that we are one, one with this government. We are clear with our choice though the world may doubt us. They have been fed lies by the media.

So we must fight back. We have been given the power to choose our destiny for the first time through Duterte. We should not give it up. We must show the world that our vision is clear and that our support is solid. Tonight, we take it to the streets of Luneta and other key cities in the Philippines and around the world. We will show them that we have not wavered and we continue to stand behind President Duterte.

Duterte has given us back our country from the fell clutches of the oligarchy. Now it is up to us to keep it. So we must not fail.
