You Killed EDSA

You can have your "spirit of Edsa." After all, by your three decades of neglect, thievery, incompetence, vengefulness and elitism, you already killed the "body" of Edsa a long time ago.

Edsa may have stood for something good before. But you, the Yellows who were supposed to nurture the ideals that it represented, threw it all away.

So don't come crying to us, who do not share your discredited beliefs, that we killed your precious Edsa. We weren't even near the place.

You killed Edsa. And you did it when you proved, in 30 years, that you were even more power-hungry, money-mad, uncaring and incompetent than the regime that you supplanted because it was guilty of these same sins.

On the plus side, you did make it this far and stay this long. But now you have to step aside, if you really don't want to move on with the rest of the country.

You've had your fun and you've enriched yourselves while proclaiming your love of the Aquinos (it was never about the country for you, so stop it already). Now get out of the way and let the people -- as opposed to you, the elitists and wannabe elitists -- take back what is rightfully theirs.
