Leni and Hanlon's Razor
Razors are philosophical principles used to cut off or shave the most unlikely hypothesis in any given phenomenon. Hanlon's is one of these logical devices. It states that one should "never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."
In the constant battle for public attention in politics, Leni has become the norm for Hanlon's Razor. Every single time she faces the press with what seems like maliciously inspired attacks against the president and his administration, she ends up revealing her incapability to form an honest, sound and coherent thought. From poorly played propaganda to painfully conflicting statements, she and her PR Team have only achieved to further her from the public's favor.
The pettiness of her platforms and the shades of her shallow excuses for outperforming in incompetence the rest of the Liberal Party have made it clear that she cannot lead. She cannot lead a community up a muddy hill let alone an entire country.
The case of Leni's attempts at displacing the president and destabilizing his government are not anymore clearly out of some devious design for self aggrandizement. It seems most likely that it is just a simple case of a greedy widow too stupid to know any better. As Hanlon is probably screaming out at us from the great beyond: she may not be doing all this out of malice but sheer stupidity.
