Brainwashing

The claim of the opposition in the Marcos burial issue is that many of those who protested are millenials. Those who were born after the EDSA Revolution in 1986. And we now know the reason why.

Here is an example of what we call the brainwashing of a generation. No wonder we spawn children who are unforgiving of the Marcoses because even in Grade 2, Araling Panlipunan class, Ninoy is virtually portrayed as a saint and taken as fact that he went to heaven.

And by affinity, the picture of the father is side by side with the picture of the son. So, a child will conclude, Noynoy is also kind and pure. Kasi nga, like-father like-son. Something, I cannot accept.

So parents, please read the textbook of your children. Do not take it hook line and singer that just because it is prescribed by the school, even a private school, it is free from subliminal messages. Otherwise, you run the risk of raising children who are made to believe things that has and will never happen.

A brainwashed youth is worse that an ignorant one.
