Plasticracy

If he wasn't so busy being the evil brains behind Leni and co-presiding over all the plotting and scheming with the VP, I might like this post. Alas, you can't have your cake and eat it, too.

How can he and the other Liberal Party senators stay in the majority whilst plotting to oust the president? That's just absurd.

Some of you praise the "paninindigan" of this senator who was "namamangka sa dalawang ilog." Yes, up until the shake up yesterday, he was enjoying the perks of being in the majority, of being chairman of an important committee, all while acting against the vision and direction of the majority. Double-dealing and backstabbing are not actions associated with paninindigan, that's sly and completely not principled. And now he is the hero because he says he paid the hefty price of going to EDSA? Pakshet.

Chairmanships are plum posts, with per diem and other allowances for research and representation, additional "staffing." Meritocracy is one thing, but you can't expect to be rewarded for stabbing the rest of the majority in the back. It doesn't work that way.

Meritocracy? More like Plasticracy.
