Cathartic Relief

Slowly friends from Naga are messaging me to confirm bits and pieces of the stories revealed by the author of #NagaLeaks. These are people who share one common feeling -- cathartic relief.

I hear a son confirming with me that indeed the guy whom Jesse Robredo took in as his body guard is someone who was already in jail for murdering his father.

I hear friends retelling to me the stories they heard in those times, stories of drugs and jueteng. I even heard the story of one who saw Emil Aguinaldo on the night he disappeared.

So to those friends who keep on saying this is a lie, and say it on the basis of sheer bias, or skepticism, I have one plea. I love you dearly and respect your right but on this one just listen first to the voices of my friends from Naga.

And if you do not believe them, listen to me. I too have heard of these stories told. And I dare you to look at me in the eye and tell me that I am a dumb liar.
